CHEMISTRY
NormOxys is actively exploring a family of molecules for their ability to act as oxyrens (oxygen release enhancers), a novel class of small molecule drugs which increase the controlled delivery of oxygen via red blood cells to hypoxic tissue. This work is being conducted in our laboratories in Strasbourg, France, under the guidance of Prof. Jean-Marie Lehn, co-founder of NormOxys and a 1987 Nobel laureate in Chemistry.
BIOLOGY
